Overview

Crystal Cakes has established a loyal customer base in an up and coming neighborhood in View Park. Founder and bakery chef Calista McBeal designs and bakes every cupcake that is served to her customers. She uses the best and seasonal ingredients, bakes only to sell all. Nothing goes to waste. More importantly Crystal Cakes keeps its prices at affordable rates for the neighborhood, resisting gentrification in the area.

Calista runs a super efficient small business, that can set an example for many others out there, and she is ready to share her wisdom with the world.

It's about time Los Angeles hears all about Crystal Cakes! Our team of hardworking gals will craft a custom social media outreach plan, fire through the best channels, grow the customer base of the company and spread the message about this modern, sustainable, healthy and ethical business.

Start date: March 2022

Duration: Six months

1

Instagram and Facebook Presence

We believe the most effective channels to reach the target audience for Crystal Cakes is through these two main channels.

2

Influencer Relationships

We will invite bloggers, tastemakers into the store and spread the online coverage to reach beyond Cyrstal Cake's own social media presence.

3

Thought Leadership

Bring Calista McBeal to speak at women's conference, events, meetups in Los Angeles and spread her knowledge.

Objectives

Grow the foot traffic of Crystal Cakes by 30%.

  • Drive visitors during slow down times:
  • Dead time 4-6pm
  • Improve Monday, Tuesday foot traffic.

Increase catering, party orders by 15%

  • Increase visibility for pre-orders
  • Increase demand for children's birthday parties

What can an all-women brand do for your brand?

Process

We are not just pretty gals getting creative with tweets. We follow a very methodical and scientific process to pin point the right target audience and run our efforts to reach them at the right time, through the right channel, at their own individual wavelength.

1

Billy Bob's Multi-Lingual Bookstore

Billy collects special edition books in all languages. Our social media campaign brought in a lot of European-Americans to the bookstore, to find hidden gems in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Danish, Lebanese, and Greek literature.

2

Allison's Antiquities

We revamped Allison Bailey's antique shop with gorgeous images of all items she carried. We launched an online store and supported it with a solid social media feed. We covered the stories behind every item and sometimes even previous owners of Allison's collection.

"I could not ask for better partners than the ladies at Light Blue. They have brought the blood back into our small shop. We have new, young and loyal customers who are our big fans now. I couldn't do this alone."

Tailor Thatcher

Mrs. Thatcher has been dressing women of Brentwood since 1987. At the dawn of e-commerce and convenience shopping, her business was missing the younger women coming in to order custom made dresses. We launched a social media campaign to attract LA fashionistas to order perfect-fit custom items for special occasions.
